In Finnish mythology Mielikki is the goddess of the forest, hunt, healing and abundance. She is one of my favorite Finnish deities. There is a very interesting myth about Mielikki which tells that each winter she goes to hibernation together with the animals. Based on my original acrylic painting (c) Niina Niskanen
