In Slavic folklore Rusalkas are female water demons who lure men and kill them. This Rusalka is accompanied by Zmei, a Slavic dragon. Beastiaries originate from Middle Ages. They were books with descriptions of mythical beasts around the world. People of the time believed them to be true. My beastiary collection includes illustrations of these creatures.
