Same way as Christianity...witch hunts arrived to Finland and to Sweden rather late compared to the rest of Europe. Interestingly enough in Finland, Estonia and Sweden half of the "witches" that were killed were men. This has all to do with the folk witch - tradition where both men and women could work as healers and practicioners of magic.
