I am quite pleased the way it turned out.    I remember being absolutely devastated when Alan Rickman passed away. He was not just Severus Snape for me but also captain Brandon from Sense and Sensibility and Sherif of Nottingham in Robin Hood. Wonderful actor and what I´v heard a generous loving person as well. It was actually just few days after I had finished the painting I heard about his passing. Watercolor and chalk. I hope you enjoy the little time lapse video I made about the painting process.
