I am illustrating Hansel and Gretel. One of my favorite fairytales from my childhood. Here are some Gretel character design development. I love designing outfits and think what are the things that the character is interested so it is also a process of not only deciding what the character looks like but who they are and what is their personality.

For the past two years I feel that I´v been constantly surrounded by foxes from the school projects to fox house decor (and let´s not forget Fox Mulder). Well...here are few more.
Ravens in the ground and ravens on the fence. I love ravens. They are such clever intelligent magical creatures. Did you know that in Finnish mythology ravens were created from witche´s cauldron. Ink drawing to the sketchbook. My "pen" was once again a tree wig dipped into Indian Ink.
