In July I had the pleasure to visit the Moomin world with my sister. Us both being devoded Moomin fans it became a lovely trip. I had been to Moomin world before but I was 9 at the time so I can´t say I remembered much about it.
Moomin world is located in an island in the town of Naantali in western coast of Finland.
Thingummy and Bob were supercute when they were speaking their own Thingummy and Bob language and Moominmamma was just as sweet as she was when I first time met her in the early 90´s.
I think Snorkmaiden had the most beautiful and the most romantic bedroom. Moomin mamma had her painting room in the upstairs with a view to the sea.
Post office was open.
Hemulen gave away corns that he had grown himself. Filifjonk carried a bottle of soap everywhere she went. Moominpapa thought she was a bit silly. Moominworld turned out to be a lovely place to visit. Afterwards we even stopped by a picknic to the near by sea shore.
