Finnish and Baltic
Autumn Time Holidays
-Info Page

Autumn is magical time in many countries and cultures. What I have noticed for studying Finnish and Baltic folklore for many years is that many of the autumn time festivals in these countries have many similarities, similar traditions and beliefs. Research was very eye-opening which is why I decided to make this course and tell about these old festivals and how knowing about them helps us to gain deeper understanding of the world view of these ancient people, especially what was their relationship to death and what the change of the seasons meant for them.
