Drips drops splashes are made with a straw. So much energy!
I do love fashion illustrations but I always try to add more feeling and depth to them. There needs to be something more than "pretty-ness". More expressions and more persona.

We also saw the Ardverikie house. I grew up watching Monarch of the Glen so it was almost a religious experience for me.
What I love about Wales and Scotland is that there are so many of these tiny waterfalls and streams. One can easily imagine fairies dancing around them )O(

I am illustrating Hansel and Gretel. One of my favorite fairytales from my childhood. Here are some Gretel character design development. I love designing outfits and think what are the things that the character is interested so it is also a process of not only deciding what the character looks like but who they are and what is their personality.
Anyone wants to go for a haunted house tour with me? hahaah when I told my tutor I would love to illustrate some haunted houses she said that is straigth up my valley. Oh they know me too well.

Cunning fox in the sketch book. I am trying out new materials to draw with so this was drawn with with a twig that was dipped into indian ink. I don´t know if you can seen them but there is an angry crow in the back chasing the fox.

The orange text above is written with a white crayon, you can also use a candle stick to create similar effect. Watercolor rejects the wax.
These splashes are made by spreading watercolor with blowing a straw.
